Cozy Sleeping Bag

Carried over from Season of Discovery and turned into a questline. Five zones, a jumping puzzle in Hillsbrad, and at the end a bag that lets you rest anywhere: 1% XP per minute of resting up to 3%, stacking with cooked food for 8%. The chain also gives a 12-slot bag (reported nerfed in size) and Student Fodder, a food item with an unclear level requirement (a level 23 tester was refused). Run it early; the XP is confirmed in the client.

The Riverglades black market

A goblin vendor in the Riverglades caps prices on rare crafting materials (from 20 gold each) and sells Gift of Galloping, a 15-day 10% mounted speed buff, for 150 gold. A separate Black Market Auction House exists in the beta files with its own location.

The snake form

Druids wearing the full five-piece "of the Fang" set from Wailing Caverns shift into a serpent form. Unconfirmed whether it is cosmetic only.

The hidden library

Forty readable books in the files, 39 with reported locations, handed to Garion Wendell in Stormwind or Owen Thadd in Undercity. Rewards at 10, 20 and 25 books: a neck piece, a ring, then a bow, shield or off-hand; the first tier was re-tuned in October and lost about half its stats. Full checklist on the library books page.

Rule-breaking items

An axe that gathers ore without Mining, and a sword that works as a Mage weapon in melee (battle mage), both shown by testers in September. Vanilla's never-released dungeon sets also appear on the server, some with new bonuses, and old dungeon sets now pay out at every piece.

Other finds

• A legendary questline in the client: six vessels and the Bough of the World Tree, tied to Hyjal.
• Gilneas sits in the client as a sealed zone with a 10-player battleground row.
• Arenas: Hyjal Crater with a Mak'gora queue and perks for the Gurubashi ring.
• The Make-A-Wish kodo quest is back in Mulgore.
• Real storms roll through Elwynn Forest; the lighting was redone by hand.
