WoW Forever zones and map

Level ranges from the beta client's area levels, with Blizzard's published range where the client has none. Open a zone for its hubs, flight paths and connecting dungeons.

Riverglades35–45
Eastern Kingdoms · Contested

A brand-new contested zone roughly the size of Stranglethorn Vale, between Redridge, the Burning Steppes, Swamp of Sorrows and the Badlands. Rivers, trade routes and old grudges: gnoll camps, ogres from Bolder'ok, the Powderfuse goblins, Twilight's Hammer and the Brotherhood of the Horse. About 150 to 200 quests for both factions and the Krol'dok Stronghold dungeon (40–45).

Mount Hyjal60
Kalimdor · Contested

Hyjal after Archimonde's defeat, including Darkwhisper Gorge, between Felwood and Winterspring. Emerging factions to ally with, the Hyjal Summit (20) and Barrow Deeps (10) raids, and a Mak'gora arena in Hyjal Crater in the files.

Shen'dralas60 (unconfirmed)
Kalimdor · Contested

A hidden area south of Desolace through the Valley of Bones, between Mulgore and Desolace, tied to the Shen'dralar of Eldre'Thalas, Dire Maul and the centaur tribes. No official level range yet.

Zephras Isle1–12
Elemental plane (own map) · Skyborne (both)

The Skyborne starting experience: an island anchored in the elemental plane with Skywall-inspired architecture. The elemental benefactors have vanished, the pylons are failing, and the Windshapers, the High Order and the Al'Aketh compete for control. Requires the Skyborne Heroic Pack or higher. Valanaar Skydocks connect it to both factions.

Eastern Kingdoms · Alliance city

The mage city stands in the Alterac Mountains as an Alliance capital and holds the nine-boss City of Dalaran dungeon. Horde are attacked on sight since the 15 October build; a Forsaken magus gives a quest-based key for safe passage.

Questions players ask

What are the new zones in WoW Forever?
Riverglades (Eastern Kingdoms, 35–45), Mount Hyjal (Kalimdor, 60), Shen'dralas (Kalimdor, between Mulgore and Desolace), Zephras Isle (the Skyborne 1–12 start in the elemental plane) and Dalaran as a city in the Alterac Mountains. Wetlands, Desolace and the starting zones also got new quests.
Are there new travel routes?
Yes: Stormwind Harbor to Auberdine, Southshore to Auberdine (with Menethil), Steamwheedle Port in Tanaris to Powderfuse Port in the Riverglades, Valanaar Skydocks to Zephras Isle for both factions, and Skywatcher Plateau to Mulgore for the Horde. Riverglades flight masters sit at Farholde Keep and Powderfuse Port (Alliance) and Rog'mar (Horde).
Are zone levels different from Classic?
Mostly the same, read from the beta client's area levels. The Barrens is listed 10–25 by the client against the old 10–33 chart; Dustwallow 36–43; Blackrock Mountain 55. Use the ranges for routing, not as hard limits.
