Points are recorded in the order you add them, so the link doubles as a level-by-level leveling order.

How to use the Paladin calculator

  1. Set your level. The point counter follows it: 1 point at 10, 51 at 60. Drop the level to see what a leveling build looks like at 20 or 40.
  2. Spend points. Left click adds, right click (or Shift-click) refunds. A refused click tells you which row or prerequisite you still need.
  3. Read the ranks. The panel under the trees shows every rank of the selected talent, the current rank highlighted, and the Classic 1.12 text when "Compare to Classic" is on.
  4. Share it. Copy link gives a URL with the full allocation and the order you spent points in. "Copy for AI / Discord" gives a plain-text version with each learned talent's tooltip.

Capstone and signature talents

  • Holy Shock (Holy, row 5): Blasts the target with Holy energy, causing 129 to 139 Holy damage to an enemy, or 110 to 118 healing to an ally.
  • Light's Vigil (Holy, row 7): Applies Light's Vigil to a friendly target for 30 sec. The caster's next Holy Shock on the target incurs no cooldown and heals the target and their party for 325 to 343. Only one Vigil per Paladin may be active in each party.
  • Holy Shield (Protection, row 5): Increases chance to block by 30% for 10 sec, and deals 75 Holy damage for each attack blocked while active. Damage caused by Holy Shield causes 20% additional threat. Each block expends a charge. 4 charges.
  • Shieldsworn (Protection, row 7): Reduces the cooldown of your Holy Strike ability by 4 sec. Additionally, Holy Strike now strikes with your shield, triggering your active Holy Shield and Shield Specialization talents without consuming their charges or triggering their cooldowns, and allowing you to Block spells for 6 sec.
  • Repentance (Retribution, row 5): Puts the enemy target in a state of meditation, incapacitating them for up to 6 sec. Any damage caused will awaken the target. Only works against Humanoids.
  • Unsealed Wrath (Retribution, row 7): Your melee attacks store a copy of your active Seal for 15 sec, stacking up to 3 times. Landing an attack with a different Seal consumes all stacks, giving the stored Seal its normal chance to activate once per stack.

Every Paladin talent has its own page with all ranks, prerequisites and the Classic comparison: see all 51 Paladin talents, the spellbook with every rank and train level, and ready-made Paladin builds you can open here with one click.

Questions players ask

How many talent points does a level 60 Paladin have in WoW Forever?
51. You earn your first talent point at level 10 and one per level to 60. With the Talented Legacy perk you start earning at level 5 to 9, but the total stays 51. Use the "First point at" control to plan around it.
What changed in the Paladin trees compared with Classic?
This snapshot records 20 new talents, 23 changed talents and 6 moved talents out of 51. Turn on "Compare to Classic" to see the 1.12 tooltip under each talent, or read the Paladin changes page.
How do the row requirements work?
Each row of a tree needs 5 more points spent in earlier rows of that tree: row 2 needs 5, row 3 needs 10, and the 31-point talent in row 7 needs 30. Talents with an arrow also require the talent above them at full rank. The calculator enforces both and tells you why a click was refused.
Can I use this calculator on my phone?
Yes. Tap a talent to add a point and read every rank below the trees. Switch to Inspect mode to read without spending, then use the Learn and Unlearn buttons. Nothing requires an account.
Does a shared link include my point order?
Yes. The link stores the allocation and the order you added points in, so anyone who opens it sees a level-by-level order under the trees. Saved builds live in your browser; use Backup JSON to move them between devices.

Talent text comes from the WoW Forever client build 1.60.1.70753 as recorded in the Talents Forever dataset (CC BY 4.0), snapshot 2026-11-03. Ranks marked "estimate" were not read directly from the client. Hotfixes after launch can change numbers before this page does.
