Questions players ask
Is there an official WoW Forever server status page?
Blizzard's Realm Status page lists each service as up or down, and the BlizzardCS accounts on social media post outage notices. Neither shows queue length, which is why this page collects it from players.
Why is there a queue if Forever has no realms?
Forever is realmless but not limitless: each region and ruleset runs as one shared world split into layers, and each layer has a capacity. When every layer in your region and ruleset is full you wait. New layers open as Blizzard adds capacity.
Does the queue reset if I disconnect?
Beta testers reported being put at the back after a disconnect. Keep the client focused, do not alt-tab into anything that suspends it, and avoid sleep mode on laptops.
Can I pick a different ruleset to skip the queue?
Yes, but characters cannot move between rulesets later and you can only group with your own ruleset. Pick the one you want to play for months, not the one with the shortest queue tonight.
