Questions players ask

How do Legacy Points work?
There are 65 Legacy Challenges in six categories; each completed challenge gives one Legacy Point to your Battle.net account, usable by every non-Hardcore character. Each character spends up to 16 points in its own three trees, so two alts can take different perks. One character alone can earn 29 points (3 leveling, 6 tradeskills, 12 PvP, 2 Adventure, 6 dungeons and raids), so you can reach the cap without alts.
How do I unlock the Legacy panel?
Earn your first point: reach level 25 on a character, hit 150 in a non-gathering primary tradeskill, or explore the entire world map. The panel is the shield icon on the menu bar or the Y hotkey.
Can I respec Legacy perks?
Yes, at a class trainer, but Legacy resets are metered: the client stores up to 10 reset charges and one returns every week, against one per hour for class talents. Plan a tree for the character, not per dungeon.
What do the reward track items look like?
Four cosmetic rewards at launch (a toy, a companion, a tabard and a mount are reported at 15, 25, 40 and 55 points; the Spectral Bear Cub is named by Blizzard). Nothing on the track is raid power.
