The first hour
- Log in 20 minutes early. The queue forms before the unlock. Be in it before 23:00 UTC with the client patched and addons installed.
- Pick the ruleset you will keep. Normal, PvP, Roleplay or RP-PvP. Characters cannot move between rulesets later and you can only group inside your own.
- Load your talent plan on your phone. Open your build link so the first points at level 10 are already decided.
- Skip the starting-zone traffic. If the first mobs are tagged, run to the second hub and come back; the first camp is the one everyone fights over.
- Turn on rested logouts from day one. Log out in the inn. Rested XP doubles kill XP and starts counting from your first logout.

Questions players ask
What time does WoW Forever launch?
23:00 UTC on Wednesday 4 November 2026 everywhere at once: 3:00 pm Pacific, 6:00 pm Eastern, 11:00 pm UK, midnight Central Europe, 10:00 am Thursday in Sydney.
Is it the same time in Europe?
Yes. Blizzard unlocks all regions at the same moment, so Europe starts at midnight CET on 5 November, which is 23:00 UTC on 4 November.
When do raids open?
9 December 2026: Barrow Deeps, Hyjal Summit and Onyxia's Lair together. Hardcore is planned for winter with no date yet.
Do I need to buy anything?
No. Forever is included with a standard World of Warcraft subscription. The Skyborne race is in the paid Heroic pack; everything else is in the base game.
