World of Warcraft: Forever revealed at BlizzCon as a permanent third version of WoW, launching 4 November

New zones, ten new dungeons, two new raids, the Skyborne, Legacy, camping, realmless rulesets, no flying, no level scaling, level cap 60 forever.

Johanna Faries called it by the name players have used for years: Classic Plus. Forever sits beside Modern and Classic as its own permanent game, set in the first year of the original timeline, after Warcraft III: Reforged's Forsaken Kingdom and before the Dark Portal reopens.

Announced: Mount Hyjal, the Riverglades, Shen'dralas and Zephras Isle; nine new dungeons from Hall of Thanes to Shaper's Terrace; Hyjal Summit (20) and Barrow Deeps (10) raids plus Onyxia; the Darkspear Islands battleground; the Skyborne race; six new race and class combos; reworked talents; the Legacy account system replacing achievements; camping; opt-in transmog; HD and SD models; gamepad support; realmless rulesets with Hardcore later. Beta 17 September, launch 4 November at 3:00 pm PST, raids 9 December, Hardcore in winter, two more raids and dungeons in spring 2027 and a revamped iconic raid in summer 2027.

Packs: Skyborne Heroic $29.99, Skyborne Epic $59.99, Warcraft Forever Collection $79.99 with Warcraft III: Reforged and Forsaken Kingdom, and a physical Collector's Edition.
