Best race for Druid in WoW Forever

Night Elf, Tauren and both Skyborne can be Druids. Skyborne Druids have unique forms.

PvE pick
Night Elf / Tauren

Night Elf Elune's Light (+10% crit for 15 s) and Quickness; Tauren Endurance (+5% health) for Bears and War Stomp for a tank interrupt.

PvP pick
Night Elf

Shadowmeld in combat on a 2-minute cooldown plus stealthing as one level higher makes a Night Elf Feral the hardest Druid to catch.

Leveling pick
Skyborne

Walk on Air glides you off cliffs and Skysight or Read Leyline cut travel and downtime; Cat Form already covers speed.

Alliance

Night Elf
Warrior, Hunter, Rogue, Priest, Druid
  • Shadowmeld. Instant, 10 sec cooldown. Activate to slip into the shadows, reducing the chance for enemies to detect your presence. Lasts until cancelled or upon moving. Using this ability in combat discourages enemies from attacking you, but increases the cooldown to 2 min.
  • Quickness. Dodge chance increased by 1% and movement speed increased by 2%. Night Elf Rogues and Druids are harder to detect in Stealth as if they were 1 level higher.
  • Wisp Spirit. Transform into a wisp upon death, increasing movement speed by 75%.
  • Elune's Light. Instant, 3 min cooldown. Increases your critical strike chance with all spells and attacks by 10% for 15 sec.
Skyborne (High Order)
Warrior, Hunter, Rogue, Mage, Druid
  • Walk on Air. Instant, 1.5 min cooldown. Glide downward through the air for 10 sec while controlling your direction of travel.
  • Read Leyline. 2 sec cast, 2 min cooldown. Increases your Health and Mana regeneration by 50% for 15 sec. Used at a Ley Line it also grants Attuned for 1 hour, which raises the bonus to 100%. Attuned persists through death and ends when you enter a raid. Cannot be used while Innervate is active.
  • Elemental Insight. Damage dealt versus Elementals increased by 5%.
  • Wind Blessed. Increases your spellcasting, melee, and ranged Haste by 2%.

Horde

Tauren
Warrior, Hunter, Shaman, Druid
  • War Stomp. 0.5 sec cast, 1.5 min cooldown. Stuns up to 5 enemies within 8 yds for 2 sec.
  • Endurance. Total Health increased by 5%.
  • Cultivation. Instant. Cultivate a nearby herb, growing a duplicate you can harvest without requiring Herbalism skill. Each herb may only be cultivated once. In play it goes on a 15 min cooldown, though its tooltip shows none.
  • Plainsrunning. Gain 2% increased movement speed every 5 sec spent moving, up to a maximum of 60% increase. Taking damage or standing still will reduce this effect. Does not increase mounted movement speed.
Skyborne (Windshaper)
Warrior, Hunter, Rogue, Shaman, Druid
  • Walk on Air. Instant, 1.5 min cooldown. Glide downward through the air for 10 sec while controlling your direction of travel.
  • Skysight. 0.5 sec cast, 2 min cooldown. Increases your movement speed by 15% for 15 sec. Used at an elemental convergence it also grants Charged for 1 hour, which raises the bonus to 30%. Charged persists through death and ends when you enter a raid.
  • Elemental Insight. Damage dealt versus Elementals increased by 5%.
  • Wind Blessed. Increases your spellcasting, melee, and ranged Haste by 2%.
