Blizzard says Shred hits harder in Forever (Class Highlights Part 3, 1:15), and Cat Form now gets the good of weapon enchants and Weightstones (1:42), so the lower percent is not the whole story. Until build 70425 the tooltip printed its flat bonus at Classic's 225% (plus 54 at rank 1); Blizzard's 15 Oct notes call the new numbers a tooltip fix with the damage unchanged. Rank 1 did lose 2 base points in the files (24 to 22) when it moved to level 20.

Talents that modify Shred

  • Shredding Attacks (Feral Combat row 3): Reduces the Energy cost of your Shred ability by 18 and reduces the Rage cost of your Lacerate ability by 3.
  • Savage Fury (Feral Combat row 3): Increases the damage caused by your Claw, Rake, Shred, Maul, and Swipe abilities by 10%.
