How Restoration plays

Riptide on the tank, Healing Wave with Healing Way stacks for tank damage, Chain Heal whenever two melee are hurt, Lesser Healing Wave for spikes. Mana Tide every three minutes, Earth Shield-style talents if you took them.

Riptide, Nature's Swiftness, Mana Tide Totem, Purification, Healing Way, Tidal Mastery and Restorative Totems with Ancestral Knowledge, Mental Dexterity and Convection.

Rotation and priority

  1. Totems: Mana Spring, Strength of Earth or Grace of Air, Tremor or Poison Cleansing as needed
  2. Riptide on the tank on cooldown (12 seconds)
  3. Healing Wave as the main tank heal; build Healing Way to 3 stacks
  4. Chain Heal when two or more melee are hurt
  5. Lesser Healing Wave for emergencies; Nature's Swiftness plus Healing Wave for a big one
  6. Mana Tide Totem when the group is below half mana

Tips

  • Chain Heal bounces favour melee groups: stand near the warriors.
  • Cure Poison and Cure Disease totems save more mana than healing through debuffs.
  • Earth Shock still interrupts; a healer with an interrupt is rare.
