Incinerate as the 31-point spell, Shadow and Flame, Fire and Brimstone, Conflagrate, Bane of Havoc for cleave, Ruin and Bane. Big crits, two schools of damage, and Bane of Havoc copies your damage to a second target.

How Destruction plays

Immolate, Conflagrate it, Incinerate while Immolate burns, Shadow Bolt when Shadow and Flame is up, Bane of Havoc on the second target on cleave fights. Shadowburn as the execute, Soul Fire with Backlash procs if you have them.

Incinerate, Shadow and Flame, Fire and Brimstone, Conflagrate, Bane of Havoc, Ruin, Bane and Aftermath with Suppression, Improved Corruption, Improved Life Tap and Pandemic.

Rotation and priority

  1. Curse of Elements or Shadow for the raid
  2. Immolate, then Conflagrate when it has under 5 seconds left
  3. Incinerate while Immolate is on the target
  4. Shadow Bolt as the filler when Immolate is down
  5. Bane of Havoc on a second target
  6. Shadowburn under 20%; Soul Fire only with a proc

Tips

  • Ruin makes crit worth double: it is the first stat after hit.
  • Fire and Brimstone scales with Fire effects on the target: keep Immolate up before Incinerate.
  • Imp out for Blood Pact and Fire damage; Felhunter in PvP to eat buffs.
