What is in the set
Blizzard published two press kits for World of Warcraft: Forever. The reveal kit from 12 September 2026 holds the twelve cinematic stills, the two painted faction key-art pieces by Alex Horley and about sixty 4K screenshots of the new zones, dungeons, raids, the Darkspear Islands battleground, Skyborne customization and the relit classic zones. The launch kit from 4 November adds the campfire key art and three painted character portraits: the Dwarf Shaman, the Forsaken Paladin and the Skyborne. Everything from both kits that works as a wallpaper is here, grouped by subject.
- Cinematic stills (12): Frames from the WoW Forever reveal cinematic: Skyborne isles in the clouds, ley lines at night, dwarves and bears in the snow.
- Key art (6): The painted Alliance and Horde key art by Alex Horley, the launch campfire piece and the three launch character portraits.
- Zones (27): The Riverglades, Mount Hyjal, Zephras Isle, Shen'dralas and the Skywatcher Plateau, plus the relit classic zones and the new water.
- Dungeons (13): The ten new five-player dungeons as Blizzard showed them: Hall of Thanes, the Drowned City, Krol'Dok Stronghold, Alcaz Prison and more.
- Raids (7): Barrow Deeps beneath Mount Hyjal and the summit itself, before the raids open on 9 December.
- Battlegrounds (3): Darkspear Islands, the new 15-a-side battleground on the Darkspear tribe's ceremonial islands off Kalimdor.
- Characters & camping (8): Skyborne customization, the six new race and class combinations, and players camping in the wild.
Sizes and formats
Screenshots were supplied at 3840×2160 as JPEG or lossless PNG and are written out here as progressive JPEG at quality 82, which keeps the 4K files between 1 and 3 MB. The cinematic stills are 3840×1600 and get a 3440×1440 ultrawide cut plus 16:9 crops. The key art was supplied at roughly 7000×4700 and is downscaled to 3840 wide. Phone versions are 1080×1920 crops placed on the most detailed part of each frame. All 76 wallpapers with every size come to about 99.9 MB; each page lists the exact file sizes.
If you want the scenes as they look in game rather than as marketing shots, every zone and dungeon page on this site carries Blizzard's screenshot too: see zones, dungeons and raids. For the new race, the Skyborne page has the racials behind the customization shots.
