How Arcane plays

Arcane Blast into Arcane Missiles when Missile Barrage procs, Arcane Wrath on cooldown, Frostbolt from the Frost points as the cheap filler when mana drops. Arcane Power with Presence of Mind for a Pyroblast-style opener.

Arcane Power, Arcane Blast, Arcane Wrath, Missile Barrage, Arcane Mind, Arcane Instability and Arcane Meditation with Improved Frostbolt, Ice Shards, Ice Lance and Shatter.

Rotation and priority

  1. Arcane Intellect, Mage Armor for mana
  2. Arcane Blast to build the stack
  3. Arcane Missiles immediately when Missile Barrage procs
  4. Arcane Wrath on cooldown
  5. Frostbolt when mana is under half (Improved Frostbolt from the Frost points)
  6. Arcane Power plus Presence of Mind every three minutes

Tips

  • Arcane Mind makes crit worth double: stack it after hit.
  • Evocation every eight minutes is a mana bar; plan pulls around it.
  • Counterspell and Polymorph are why raids bring you; Spellsteal-style effects do not exist here.
