How Fire plays

Scorch to five Improved Scorch stacks, Fireball as the filler, Fire Blast on the move, Pyroblast when Heating Up shortens it after a crit. Combustion with trinkets for an Ignite that rolls.

Combustion, Fire Power, Critical Mass, Heating Up, Improved Scorch, Ignite and Master of Elements with Arcane Concentration, Arcane Impact, Arcane Meditation and Presence of Mind.

Rotation and priority

  1. Arcane Intellect, Mage Armor
  2. Scorch five times to stack Improved Scorch; keep it refreshed
  3. Fireball as the filler
  4. Pyroblast when Heating Up makes it fast after a crit
  5. Fire Blast while moving
  6. Combustion plus trinkets at the start of a burn phase

Tips

  • Critical Mass is back to 3 points: take it before anything in Arcane.
  • Fire Power scales with how many of your Fire effects are on the target: keep Scorch and Fireball's burn up.
  • Dragon's Breath-style effects are not here; Frost Nova from the baseline kit is your escape.
