How Assassination plays

Open from stealth, Mutilate to build, Shank for the Venom window, Slice and Dice first then Rupture or Eviscerate. Seal Fate turns crits into extra points so crit is your scaling stat.

Assassination Rogue endgame PvE build (31/20/0)
Mutilate, Seal Fate, Venom, Vile Poisons, Improved Poisons and Relentless Strikes with Precision, Puncturing Wounds, Dual Wield Specialization and Efficient Strikes.

Rotation and priority

  1. Instant Poison main hand, Deadly Poison off hand
  2. Ambush or Cheap Shot from stealth
  3. Slice and Dice at 2 to 3 points first
  4. Mutilate to 5 points; Shank when it is off cooldown for the Venom bonus
  5. Rupture on long fights, Eviscerate under 20 seconds left
  6. Keep Slice and Dice up before anything else

Tips

  • Relentless Strikes refunds Energy on finishers: finish at 5 points, not 4.
  • Blood Splatter extends Rupture when you crit, so do not reapply early.
  • Vanish resets a bad opener; Cold Blood guarantees the Eviscerate crit.
