How Subtlety plays

Premeditation into Ambush or Cheap Shot, Boot Knife Shank for two points, Kidney Shot, Death Mark to finish. Preparation resets Vanish, Sprint and Evasion for a second attempt. Quick Getaway sets up double Sap in group fights.

Death Mark, Boot Knife, Hemorrhage, Preparation, Ghostly Strike, Premeditation and Quick Getaway with Malice, Ruthlessness, Lethality and Cold Blood.

Rotation and priority

  1. Stealth, Premeditation, Ambush (or Cheap Shot on casters)
  2. Shank with Boot Knife for 2 Combo Points
  3. Kidney Shot at 5 points, then Backstab
  4. Death Mark when the target is under half
  5. Vanish, Preparation, repeat the opener
  6. Sprint and Quick Getaway to reset or escape

Tips

  • Ghostly Strike and Hemorrhage are mana-free pressure between stuns.
  • Blind into a Sap on the healer wins arena-style fights.
  • In PvE you lose to Combat; swap with dual spec at 40 for 10 gold.
