How Fury plays

Bloodthirst and Whirlwind on cooldown, Heroic Strike to dump Rage, Death Wish and Reckless Swings lined up with trinkets. Flurry keeps attack speed high so crit is the stat that snowballs.

Rotation and priority

  1. Death Wish before a big pull; Reckless Swings when a burst window opens
  2. Bloodthirst on cooldown (requires Death Wish talented)
  3. Whirlwind on cooldown in Berserker Stance
  4. Heroic Strike or Cleave when Rage is above 50
  5. Execute under 20% instead of Heroic Strike
  6. Battle Shout before it drops

Tips

  • Dual-wield miss is 24% before gear, so hit comes before every other stat.
  • Reckless Swings costs 25% of base health; do not press it when the healer is drinking.
  • Victory Rush between pulls while leveling keeps you from eating after every fight.

Leveling as Fury

Still the hardest class to level alone: no self-heal beyond Victory Rush and Blood Craze, and gear-dependent damage. Forever helps with normalized Rage, Victory Rush at 20 and Reckless Swings. Level with a healer friend or in dungeons when you can; as a tank you never wait for a group.
